As part of our mission statement, the Storefront Artist Project strives to make a strong connection with our local schools through visiting artist programs, mentorships, and gallery and studio visits.

By bringing the artist out of the studio and into the classroom, we are actively engaged in the education of our young people. As an added bonus, we are encouraging our young students to come visit the artist's studio to see how some of our local talent get their inspiration.

Our programs are designed to include all of the grade levels, and in some cases, augment the arts curriculum.

The Open Studio nights we periodically host are an opportunity for the community to step into the studio.
